How to Donate
Procedure #1 (preferred)
You can donate by writing a check (see example below) made payable to American Funds, and in the memo line put the phrase “FBO Wesley Chapman.“
You can either mail that check to me, Carl Chapman at 10025 Twingate Drive, Johns Creek GA 30022, upon receipt I will acknowledge you as instructed in the letter accompanying the check. Or you can mail the check directly to the financial firm which is managing the account – Atlanta Financial Associates, Inc. 5901 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd Ste B275, Atlanta, GA 30328.

The fund charges expenses of 5% and the merchant processor charges fees of 2.9% plus a small transaction fee (about $.30) per transaction/donation. In the early phases of our efforts, this fee was well worth it from a convenience of giving standpoint. Moving forward, we wish to minimize expenses to the highest degree possible, and suspending our GoFundMe account will be a way that we may choose.
